Some great batwing chaps. This is one of the only stills that remains of Pawnee Bill's western films. This photograph is from Pawnee Bill: The Frontier Detective.

I love that style of the guy on the left—fedora with the side dents.
I’ll bet Lyle Marr could stop a fusee pocket watch in her day.Pictured from left to right: Texas Jack Junior, Lyle Marr (TJ Jr's wife), Clarence Welby Cooke, and Will Rogers.

What a coincidence, I just watched this segment on the America In Color series last night. Great info and colorized film footage in that series.August 19, 1933. The first Soapbox Derby, held on Burkhart Hill in Dayton. It would be moved to Akron in 1935 and continues there to this day.

It’s probably just the photo, but Lyle Marr looks like an ugly man in drag with an argumentative attitude. Any idea what she was really like?I’ll bet Lyle Marr could stop a fusee pocket watch in her day.
Agreed. My sarcasm failed to shine through.Lyle Marr looks like an ugly man in drag with an argumentative attitude.
