What a coincidence, I just watched this segment on the America In Color series last night. Great info and colorized film footage in that series.

I’ll bet Lyle Marr could stop a fusee pocket watch in her day.

It’s probably just the photo, but Lyle Marr looks like an ugly man in drag with an argumentative attitude. Any idea what she was really like?

In trying (unsuccessfully) to find another photo of her, I found this one of the senior Texas Jack (Omohundro) and his wife, dancer Giuseppina Morlacchi. She was a very handsome woman. The other two with them are Bill Cody and Ned Buntline.

I included 2 more photos of her as well - she was apparently a very popular ballet dancer.

A cowboy and a ballerina make a pretty awesome couple.
