“General Fitzhugh Lee, Spanish-American War officer, at the Tampa Bay Hotel” – 1898. Florida Memory Collection – www.floridamemory.com
Fitzhugh Lee was a Confederate General in his own right, was a grandson to Revolutionary War hero Light Horse Harry Lee & nephew to Robert E. Lee, which makes him also related to the Fristoes & the mother of Cole, Jim, Bob & John Younger. It definitely was a smaller world back then.
