I have a real love for these trees. I had to rebuild my back porch the summer we bought our house and was able to source some old redwood from a company in Buffalo that built water tanks for NYC. The posts are clear heart 4x6. Amazing lumber - a privilege to work with it. Looks the same today as it did when I made it almost 30 years ago.

Thanks Garrett... The bronze bolts (just visible in the shadow) came from up your way (Seattle). Couldn't find that nice bronze hardware around here. That was before anything in the world was a click away.
