Last week Himel posted this video on YouTube where he talks about patterns. At 3:45 he explains exactly what they do to make their jackets fit their customers: they "adjust the pattern on the fly". "That is customization that you get so that you get a beautiful fit".

Of course we all knew this already but now we've heard it from the man himself, their jackets are custom (and not bespoke, the word bespoke is not mentioned at all in this video about patterns).

And there is nothing wrong with that in itself; the issue comes when he presents this as somehow superior to the other makers that do the same thing.
