I don't know if this is the place to post these photos, but I thought Mallory fans may like to see them. An elderly friend of my wife worked as a fur cutter as a young woman, in Danbury. She was kind enough to loan me some of her books. These are pictures of the Mallory factory.

Boy, there is an oral history I'd love to conduct. Great images Dd, I'll have to look for that Danbury book.I don't know if this is the place to post these photos, but I thought Mallory fans may like to see them. My wife's friend has shared a few stories. The company she worked for sold most of their fur to the McLachlin hat Co. Her father was plant manager.

Mallory 15 Duplex Edge from Browns High Grade Hats Cleveland.Didn't find any info on Browns High Grade Hats of Cleveland.The ribbon has moved up on one side and sweat stitching is showing,easy fix.The liner is blank maybe faded away.

Arrived yesterday. Post-Stetson Mallory XV with Duplex (Cavanagh) edge.

Duplex Edge, 2 5/8"
A few nibbles scattered throughout; however, other than that, very lightly, if ever, worn.
Very nice, thicker, luxurious grey felt. A joy to steam up and brush, not to mention shape.

Thank you. While I think the box is contemporaneous with the hat, it has "13.95 7 1/8" scrawled on one side. It could've just been an available to grab when they sold the hat, too.
