A Barley Wine for me tonight. A terrific local brewery did it up for their 'winter ale' a few months ago and still had some bottles left.

Despite it being a warm evening it was absolutely delicious!

Last night a couple Yuengling Lagers while watching the new Indy Jones movie.

Tonight I'm thinking Pritchards Rum as I enjoy Dr. Who.

Arrogant ba***rd Ale from Stone Brewery

Nice one, right along with their Oak Aged, and Double ba***rd.

I had their Ruination Ale last night with venison steaks.

Another month or so for their 08 Vertical Epic.:eusa_clap

Am looking forward to that one as well.
Still another 10 months or so to wait for my favorite......the Russian Imperial Stout.
Good thing its sooooo hot out here. Stouts are not my favorite summertime quaff. :D

Had some more of the local Hangar 24 IPA yesterday.....hanging out at the pool and having a rousing game ot Water War with the kiddies.

I have a few bottles of Gordon's oddities that a friend gave me awhile ago, grapefruit gin and coolmint gin. I made a gimlet with the grapefruit gin, took a sip,,, and tossed it in the sink. Then I made myself one with regular Gordon's, much better. I still haven't found anything useful for these two.

I have a suggestion about how to use those two but you have to be a pipe smoker. They clean out a pipe bowl pretty good and leave a nice scent I suppose. ;) :p

I'd normally have a Singapore sling but went overboard one night so I'm laying off those for a bit.

Lately I've been working on my bottle of Middleton's very rare.

I have been watching some Errol Flynn pirate movies.....so I was in the mood for some rum. I came home with this:

Hot here today so quenching the thirst with pilsner. Nothing too fancy, just Dahls Pils, the local drop in Trondheim.

Helping enormously ;)

Tea. And lots of it. Severely overindulged last night and subsequently feel half dead.

Let that be a lesson to you children...
