Even if it turns out to be terrible (not likely) at least the clothes are cool.

I'm very excited about this one.

If you've not seen the director's first movie, Brick, you really should take a look into it. One of my personal facvorite films. It's a wonderful contemporary noir film that stars modern day high school students who talk in a 1940s type gangster lingo. Strange concept, but executed beautifully. Also, the director deserves major props since he financed it for little more than the money he could borrow from family and friends. Here's a trailer for it:

Brick is a very interesting movie. I didn't realize that this was directed by the same guy. I'll certainly see it when it comes out.

This looks fabulous. We should all go see it at the same time on the same day in our fabulous vintage gear... Maybe someone will notice the phenomenon and we'll end up on international news ;)

I've noticed lately that if Mark Ruffalo and Adrian Brody are in a film, I tend to like it. Now, they are in the same film, and they've got explosions. I'm sure I'll love it.

I'm a big fan of Rachel Weisz and Mark Ruffalo, so I'll definitely be going to see this. It looks like a lot of fun. :)

This is an awesome movie. Interesting story that keeps you guessing what is real and what is a con. Very funny, and visually fantastic. The 1930s-40s feel underlying the modern script makes for some fantastic sets and brilliant costumes. And lots of great clothes and brilliant hats too! Anyone know what hat Stephen (Mark Ruffalo) has in this film though? Looks to me like a fairly wide brim porkpie with a bit of a bash on the front.
Off to a Brother's Bloom inspired party this weekend, so for want of a bashed porkpie, my black fedora will have to suffice.
Cheers
Mark
