About the same shade as a Montecristo #2 (Torpedo) cigar...I wonder what a Cuba color would be?

That's just a guess...Thanks Doug. My mind was thinking some brown shade.
Very cool information. Thanks for the research and posting these, Dave.

I wonder if it's a colour or a felt mix; it's listed after "nutria".Me too! I'm sure there is someone here who knows.
Hi everyone! I purchased this Borsalino homburg off of Etsy. Still waiting for it to arrive, but I thought I'd ask a couple of questions using the pics from the listing. My biggest question is anyone have any idea regarding when this homburg might be from? The seller listed it as being from the 30's, and it would be awesome if that was the case. Just thought I'd check see what other people thought. Also, the size tag says 6 1/2 but the seller said the circumference was 23"/58.5cm which would indicate somewhere in the 7 size range. I know there's a sizing system that's used in Italy and France and perhaps other places where a 6 1/2 is equivalent to an American 7 1/2. Is that possibly what's going on with this hat? Any information that can be provided would be great. Thanks!

Good find, Dave and a nice hat. Borsalino used these model names for the American market hats.
