Quite some Borsalinos appeared in my local market lately. Most in my size range, but not all. Here is one.

Moving on, a Misto (Grisfpo maybe?). Marked 58 but fits more like a 56.5...Pity

Gorgeous hat. It's a Misto Gris Fer; lovely grey heather colour. Nice shape too; looks like it was meant to be worn brim up.

Next, another imported grey lobbia. Unfortunately, unknown model and color since there is no label Also, no logo printing on the sweatband. I guess it could have been restored locally at some time point since the selling store printing on liner and sweatband don't match.

Still a beautiful hat, Panos. If I'd have to take a guess, I'd say it's an Amiata coloured one.

Another winner. Usually these Lupo coloured ones are more brownish in colour. This one looks more grey in tone. Unusual is that the label has cerrated edges all around, but doesn't have the model name anymore. Likely made right before the switch was made to the labels with the straight edges on the side.

Judging by the style of it, I'd say late sixties to mid-seventies. It's old enough to drink, that's for sure.

A perfect trio of lobbia with all the Borsalino "styles" for the north market.
The "Misto" is a M.Grisfer that means "irongrey"
A small advice for your camera or phone is setted actualy on a very cold color temperature and the felt colors are out of Borsalino palette

I recall reading somewhere that the MGLs were made for the American market so that would mean US sizing, but I thought I’d ask. Thanks.

I upsized two of these for a relative by marriage. They were his father's and he was thrilled to have them upsized so he could wear them.....for the life of me could not figure out why??? I found them weird and creepy but thought if I ever wanted a pet I would get one of these in its stead. No walkies, no feeding, no plastic baggies....perhaps the perfect pet,
