Ill post some bold ties soon. To exchange for some "boring ties"

I'm interested in 30s non-lined neckties.
And if any of you have real 1920s neckties, ill trade one for a couple of bold ties.

Damian: according to James Powers, that means you have 'moved over to the dark side'.

'Boring' tie wearers of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but you chains (and your cartoonish drawings of ships etc):)

I hope you get rid of all those boring ties. I know there have been plenty of professed lovers of such things. :p

I wish I could have been sitting at your Thanksgiving dinner table. I imagine any conversations about ties must have been passionate indeed.

Take a look at the ties I posted because some are unlined 30s, although I'm not sure if they fit your taste. Let me know if any do.

Here are a few skinny ties, if anyone is looking skinnies.

Ok these need a good pressing. They are 1960s German ties.

This is a late 1950s or early 1960s Tootal 'Silver Blade' It has a square end. Unfortunately it is a bit big for the scanner, so part of the design has been cut off. It is shinier than this scan suggests:

I have another large batch up for trades--amazing how a long holiday weekend makes time to dig through, photograph, and post ties.:D Let me know if you want particulars on any of them.

J) Excellent, very wide
K) [RESERVED] Excellent NOS
L) Excellent NOS

For some of the following neckties, I'm willing to trade multiple for one bolder tie. I've marked these as "multi" in the individual description.

All Skinny/ish
M) Very good. Light fading above knot. Multi
N) Very good. Some brownish stains on front that blend in, or or less. Multi
O) Excellent. Multi
P) Very good. Under certain light, purplish discolored spots on front. Name penned on lining. Multi
Q) Good. Color might be faded a little (or originally duller), small cut on back. Multi
R) Excellent.
S) Very good. Paint cracked and chipped in spots.
