This one is super interesting. The first white reorder tag is rare, but I have seen it before on very early 20th century hats. The left sample number tag has me intrigued. I have never seen a stetson tag that looked like that. Its very similar to the Schoble tags used very early on. I have a Dark Green Stetson Derby from around 1890 with the first (or possibly 2nd) style reorder tag. I need to take pictures of it and post it on the lounge. Your derby seems to be the transition between my 1890 derby and the more common red reorder/tan serial number tag set used by Stetson in the 20th century.
I forgot about this one Alan, such great color! It's very light, Josh... hat is 2.8 ounces. My steaming brought back some body to the hat which may make it look more substantial. When I first took it out of the box, you could fold it with a cross look.
+1Nice!
