This is the belt I purchased from Thirteen50. The photo is from their website. This is the kind of rich deep color it will develop over time. Highly recommended.

My package just came, i took picture before and after conditioner. It was the last sz30 so probably it has been used as store decoration for awhile, the brass is already oxidized a bit, and leather is pale but already has some tan, so i condition the belt and leave the buckle alone. I like the shade shown after conditioning if this indicate the hue it would take further down the road then it would be very nice

after getting a belt... today I could not resist to buy natural long wallet and lanyard loop (from local brand nothing expensive, since I'm not sure I could sport the look) I guess they complete the whole set, and I will get a big piping and cover it with leather sleeving and fix a pair of brass clasp and D ring to both ends of it to secure the wallet and hang my car key on, I'll give this raw denim + leather a proper chance to convince me.

I guess since I sniffed the leather now I got addicted, I hope it ends here.

Thanks boss! Yeah, this Tochigi steerhide darkened quite a bit with use, suntanning and hand rubbed coconut oil.

is yours categorized as mid wallet? is the money bill inside placed like normal bifold (creased on the center of the bill) or straight up on each side as in long wallet?
I still don't know what setup work best for wearing in rear pocket of my current jeans, fully filling the pocket or more to the side of the pocket only, I guess it also has to do with rear pocket placement on our jeans, higher waisted jeans with shorter yoke have higher rear pocket that you don't actually sit on, while other jeans with lower waist or longer yoke have rear pocket lower and that you actually sit on, then some have pocket that more to the side or more to the center, it's mind boggling, I never carry long wallet before always been a small bifold user, my current wallet is super small it always sink to the bottom of any pockets, but they can be pretty thick. I guess long wallet would be thinner since the content is spread to wider area, but then they always use thick hide that negates the effect, the good 1/3/ 1/4 of the length of the wallet sticking out the pocket is something I never wear before I wonder if I can adopt that style, or the kidney panel of my jacket would get caught behind the wallet everytime I rise from my seat

For me, it doesn't feel any different than a bifold style wallet. Plus, I enjoy the wallet chain or leather lanyard feature. I'm a leather aficionado, thus I prefer a robust hide. Just wear it and enjoy it...here's pics of the inside of my wallet (it was still fairly new back then):

Yesterday i picked my wallet chain it was just round like sausage casing over a core, it was my will... i thought it would look nice and modern... turn out after it creased a little it really look like fresh semi soft poo...
so I open up youtube, broke open the stitches of this leather sleeve, sliced the leather into 8 thin strips and superglue the 8 strips into long 4 strips, the core is a wick material so i slim it down and braid over it , all after 9 minutes short course from youtube... amazing knowledge we can learn instantly these days. And i oil it a little with mink oil.

Check out this video, that's the one i used to stitch all my belts:

Great teaching video IMO.
