Guppy- UPDATES please!!!
I posted a thread about it a couple of months ago when I first got it... I'll see if I can find the link...

Update: Here it is. Haven't had time to take updated photos since I posted the ones in this thread tho, and it's too cold for wearing it right now.

Looks like same one. But do you really need a bad ass natural fading leather that has greater patina and character as time goes by? One that becomes more interesting as time passes just like personality expression?
You don't need it but you do want it!!!!

I bought this new on The Bay. Washed it in hot water in a machine, and air dried. Then stripped it with rubbing alcohol, applied 2 coats of brown Fiebings, and finished it with Fiebings Resolene.

Home dye job? Wonderfully even in that shot. Beautiful colour, too - the perfect amount of 'red' in it to give it that richness that I love in a brown hide.

I just realised I never posted here... Currently ageing:

Did that start out fully natural?

I wasn't into the look back when, but I'm increasingly intrigued by the ideas of a natural I could wear that would change so markedly over time. It looks especially good on this style (I think as much as anything because at this stage it really starts to remind me of the original Snake Plisken jacket, which this design recalls). I've been seriously considering it on something like an Aero 20s workcoat. Not previously been into that length, but a couple of jackets on Man in the High Castle have convinced me. I think a fairly simple design that isn't too busy can really allow the hide itself to shine.

It started already "treated" for lack of a better word, but with intensive use on the motorbike, especially in summer during the heat wave, it has evolved quite a bit.
