Picking nits here, but unless the side trim was changed, that's a 1954 Chevrolet 210. The pricier Bel Air has a contrasting panel on the flanks. Personally, I prefer the 210.

Thank you very much, most kind of you to say so. But I have to say that the Big Man and his grandson really steal the show. The car, the helmets and the goggles, is that the height of cool, or what?

Had a spot of bother with the MG at the weekend. After four years I still haven't cracked the code on how to hook, my supposed smart phone, up to the internet. I needed to make a call for assistance. No matter, a friend kindly looked up MG Models on his phone. Somehow I think that there was some sort of ambiguity with the term: "Models." Anyway they had a look and got it going, but not that quick.

Thanks. Someone suggested I'm having a "mid-life crisis." If that's right, then ok. Considering I'm almost 63, if this is the "middle of my life" then I should live to be 126 years old.

I never heard reference to the 210, but the images are consistent. Either way, it's long gone. Thanks for the clarification!

Thanks. I've been driving that car since 1983. My aunt Sara bought it new in 1965 (she traded in a black 1955 Ford Tudor). I rode many a mile in both her '55 and her '65. When she passed away in 1983 the car was left to me. It had about 30,000 miles when I got it and today it has a couple thousand over 300,000 miles (and still going strong).

Not yet but on really not days, like this week has been, it does run on the hot side and I am careful with the old gal.

Man, it's been a long time coming, but we finally got the Mustang started and out of the garage on Saturday. Cleaned it up yesterday.

I have to check the rear wheel cylinders because the rear master reservoir was dry. Also need to put the rear valance and bumper back on, as well as some trim items. But it's running great.

I like that you have cars at both ends of the spectrum.

I'm not a Ford guy typically, but I would love to have that as it's always been my favorite Mustang. And I also want my Grandpa's '48 F1 pickup...
