Wow love those two cars! Is the Packard a Super Straight 8?
You know your cars. When I bought the MG, what I really wanted was a model known as: "MG WA." But so few were made, and their production was halted when all of our factories were commandeered for the war effort in 1939. Production of the WA didn't resume after WW2, so from just a few hundred built only a small number remain. And even if you could find one, they command a king's ransom. Here's a WA that I saw at one of the best vintage events in the UK: The Goodwood Revival.

Wow that is super clean! For some reason it reminds me of a scaled down version of a Rolls. Wonder if who designed that car also did some work for Rolls Royce?

Then of course there is this Bugatti.....check out how tall the wheels are and how large the car was! BEAUTY is what is there. I would LOVE to own that Bugatti! Varrrooom! HA!
Wonder why that Bugatti is right hand drive? New avatar LMM? Forget the Bugatti, you have some of the most stylish, works of art, in car design, right in your own country.

Nice to see, I'm not the only one here with, "champagne taste, on a beer budget!"

2jakes, was it you who said they would be scared witless at driving on the left? Over in The What Hat Thread, there's a rather nice American that's made a new home on the 'wrong' side of the road.

I don’t remember if it was in The What Hat Thread.

Basically I was trying to convey that for me to drive a car with the steering
wheel on the right side &
driving on the left lane which I have never done
in my life would be scary in the sense that I may cause an accident & harm
other folks.

But then again, it’s scary with the way some folks drive regardless of the
country or what side of the road they are on!

I looked at this today. I did not buy it, but it was a really nice truck. 1983 C20 with 454, 700r4 auto transmission and 86,000 original miles. $2,700.00 was not the wrong price, but then again, that also buys a lot of stuff for our soon to be bigger house.
