Anybody have any clever ways to store/display a tie collection in a compact way? I store mine rolled, and I'm looking for a wall hanging cubby type box, like the kind used to display shot glasses or store signal flags on a boat. The compartments need to be about 3" square or a little bit bigger. I looked high and low without success, anybody know where I can get one or have a better idea? TIA -Dave

Since my reputation for ignorance is firmly established (i.e., asking a stupid question won't lower anyone's already low opinion of me), regarding all the risqué ties above, I assume they are modern creation to reflect the "porn" of the Era as I can't image anyone was wearing those, at least the more revealing ones, back in that time period?

No low opinion of you here, at all.

They look pretty legit. They definitely were around back then, although I'm guessing most likely not an everyday item. More like something you'd wear to a stag party (does anyone use that term anymore?)
They are pretty sought after by collectors these days, and often fetch a hefty price.

Also popular were "peekaboo" ties, which looked pretty sedate but had saucy pin-up ladies printed in the lining.

Here's a pic of the only example of a vintage pin-up tie in my collection. I posted it waaaay back, but here it is again for your enjoyment..

PS I think I found what I need, but I'd need to buy at least two, just to show off my faves. Also the cubbies seem a little too big for one tie, too small for two. I'm gonna keep looking a bit more. Any ideas?? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M4KHWT0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AZCEI3EMXUPTH&psc=1
Looks pretty cool.

I bought a $2 curtain rod that's about 4 feet long and mounted it to the wall, then hung my ties over it. I like the way @Kahuna has his displayed, but I had to put all mine high enough to be out of reach of a certain 3 year old.
