The ubiquitous hunting scene Haband. I have seen it in blue too. I have to get one, one of these days.

^^I second that, and the seller likely wants an arm and a leg for it (no pun was intended, but it kind of fits).
This one is calling out to you...
$3? Ok.
^^Interesting theory, Matt. You may be right.
I think that depends on what kind of pattern ties you are selling though. If you are selling boring stripes, checks and dots then bankers will be your customers. Sell bold ties with bright patterns, hand-painteds and scenic ties and you are going to draw from all over the country.
Those are usually pretty boring and minimalistic. They are finally selling now eh? I have a bunch I need to move then. A whole lot of them. A pile right behind me as I type. To the Bay they go.....Those I sold were mostly skinny late 50s / early 60s "Mad Men" style ties, which seem to be the hottest thing going right now in vintage ties.
Include the words "Mad Men" in the auction heading and they'll get a lot of attention. Those are usually pretty boring and minimalistic. They are finally selling now eh? I have a bunch I need to move then. A whole lot of them. A pile right behind me as I type. To the Bay they go.....
Good idea. Last time I tried to sell them in groups of five and got a whole buck for them. :rofl:Include the words "Mad Men" in the auction heading and they'll get a lot of attention.

Nostalgic remnants, then, of their own youth.
