Hey -- I just noticed -- the pinstripes on the vest's lapels are inline with the body, rather than angled. Another unique feature!

And silver chains are often available on eBay -- and when I got mine, very reaosnably priced!

I have to admit Baron... the suit is amazing. going from the english henchman look to the Billionaire playboy look without no stops in between.

That was the finest suit that ever came through my hands. BK, it is absolutely amazing on you. I think I need to have pictures to have it copied, though I know, it can never be faithfully reproduced.

First Vintage Suit

Interested in hearing your feedback Gentleman (and Ladies). Wore this for the first time today. This is my first vintage suite and first fedora. I purchased this from The Strawberry Classic Menswear on eBay. No alterations, exactly as I received it. Do the pants break too much?

Believe it or not, that is an off the rack number from Target. It seemed like it could make a decent summer suit. The price was reasonable enough that if it looked totally horrible I would not feel too bad.
I did not start a new thread with the details but here they are:
Hat - Penny's Marathon.
Suit - Target.
Shirt - modern w/French cuffs.
Snap cufflinks (not shown) - vintage.
Pocket square - modern.
Tie - vintage.
Shoes - Indy Magnoli.

Mr K. L. Bowers, that suit looks great on you. I wouldn't worry about the break. So long as the trousers aren't trailing on the ground at the back they'll be fine. If you want to reduce break then you can probably do a lot by adjusting the suspenders.

My wife cut me to the quick when she said “Oh.. your wearing your costume” !

Feraud, I’ll be stopping at Target this afternoon. I hope our local has those in stock. The radio is my 41-280 Philco. One of about 50 + Philcos all over the house.
