Traveling today in a pair of 1930 Nunn Bush art deco inspired shoes. Pristine condition shoes.

Might be the finest shoes I have ever laid eyes on. You really have fantastic taste in your footwear. What's the story on these shoes? Maker? Source of purchase?EDIT: Silly me, you said Nunn-bush as the maker.

Thanks sir. I appreciate your comments.

Agreed. They are bold shoes.

This man is starting to rival other well known collectors....o_O:(

Thanks sir. That is a compliment having seen only a glimpse into your vast shoe wardrobe. A vast number of glorious vintage specs and others have been shared here and on the Facebook sites. I feel very humbled.

I certainly do not search actively each day for vintage shoes. Rather the acquisitions have been very serendipitous. It has helped to have a foot size in which I compete against a smaller number of combatants in the shoe arena.

Thanks folks.

Best, Eric-

Errands this morning completed while wearing some vintage shoes. This pair of Bostonian's are "Build with the Flexmore Process."

The below pic is a pic of the original soles and heels. I have added a rubber protective sole and had the heels replaced. With liberal leather conditioner and shoe trees the shoes are back to pristine wearing condition.

I wore a pair of vintage Endicott Johnson woven shoes to a meeting this morning. They still have the original Air Tread rubber heels.

The shoes are in good condition and see casual wear during the warmer seasons.

Terrific warm weather shoes. The above pics are not terrific, but they go to showcase these special shoes.

Best, Eric -

When were they made? Very interesting pair of shoes, Eric.

I don't know the exact model of these, but these are my Loake Brogue boots in black. Comes with whatever type of sole you find on Doc Martens, but with a Goodyear welt instead!

Very cool boots. Look comfortable.

From left to right:
1. what I wear mostly
2. with suits
3. when playing Hickory Golf
4. on Veterans Day. Original pair of M-1931 cavalry boots, along with 1928 dated jodhpurs and early 30s shirt with original 1SG stripes, belt and early 30s campaign hat with 5th Cavalry Regt device.

Thanks for sharing your interesting shoes sir.

A whimsical shoe purchase a few years back. I always enjoy wearing them. Maybe a little gaudy in the classical sense, but I I like them.

I was just looking at hats on intl.rmwilliams.com when I came across their green malachite chinchilla boots. My heart skipped a beat, and then I saw the price tag of $645.00 (US). Maybe I'll give Paul Manafort a call and see what he thinks.

In the vain of shoes and without politcal opinion - Paul Manfort in his natural environment?
