GOK, that dress is fabulous! I'm like you, though - I'm always afraid to try colors I'm not used to.

Fortunately, this is a color I'm comfortable with...and only $17!!

Thanks, ladies! I'm going to try to wear it to the Oviatt this saturday so hopefully I'll get pics in it :) Grace, I find a lot of my things listed in the wrong categories, without gallery pictures, or with pictures that don't show much detail but I know what they are. There's still good deals out there, and half the fun is finding them! :D

I almost hate to confess this, but I never buy vintage items off ebay. When you ladies conduct a search, do you just look for "vintage jewelry" or "vintage clothing"? Or do you search by category?

If you help me out, I promise to never bid against ya! ;)

That lime bracelet is ADORABLE. Obviously...I dig the fruit. :D

I tend to look for 'vintage' first, then pick a category. Then I'll search for what I'm actually after and tag 'vintage' onto it. For example; sweater, vintage. I usually filter out things like 60s, 70s, 80s etc as they are of no interest to me.

I haven't been shopping on ebay for a while, I've been preoccupied with some very nice vintage fairs draining my funds here in town, but I had some overtime in the bank and time on my hands and well.... I'm looking forward to the postman arriving lol

Just look at that beading! Heavenly...

Not my usual style, but heck, it was $9.99 and I had already won 2 coats from the seller (neither over $15!!) so I would have to have a heart of steel to not bid.

Now, those bargain coats...I still can't believe how much I got them for!

I have really high hopes for this to be the perfect day to day coat to take me through to spring (especially since the cold weather really doesn't seem to be arriving this year).

Wow LadyK, you hit the jackpot. Everything you've bought is great! I hope the postman arrives soon.

When I search on ebay I search either woman's clothes, woman's shoes or woman's accessories, under the vintage category under clothing, shoes and accessories. It depends on how much searching I feel like doing, but I'll usually narrow down the search by looking through the various eras. I have found that this is usually the quickest way for me to find vintage goodies.

Have fun wearing all of your new goodies, I am jealous! Haven't had a good buy in a while. The last gown I bought was described wrong. When it arrived, the waist was a full four inches smaller than the seller had said it was. Now I can't get in touch with the seller. I didn't spend a lot on the dress, and I could re-sell it on my own, but still it is so frustrating that their are so many dis-honest sellers out there.

I have no idea what vintage this is, and as its not arrived yet I can't judge any better from the materials, but its just so cute! I've not seen a scarf holder like this before, and its the logo for the band I work for too so I just had to have it.

This wasn't a bargain, but worth every penny. This seller has the most amazing hats... if money wasn't a concern I'd be buying pretty much everything she lists.

But for every pricey item, there is always another of those bargains! I've always wanted a robe like this and it is even nicer in person. It cost only $9. My favourite price bracket!

another bargain,

Which I'm starting to be thankful for quite frankly, seeing these all down here makes me realise that I should probably bar myself from evilbay for a while, although my favourite item is up next (yup, I need three posts for all the pictures. sorry!)

OH MY goodness, LadyK! You hit the jackpot. I especially love the comb, and the pink dressing gown is beautiful. Lucky gal!! I'm hoping some of that luck will jump across the pond and rub off on my computer keys. I am officially jealous:D

LadyK~ I love that black dress with the jeweled neckline!!! Gorgeous!!

Jitterbugdoll~ Those colorful shoes are too cute! At first glance I thought that your feet were awfully plastic looking and who who buy nylons to look like that?! Upon closer inspection I see that they are not your feet.lol

Plus a killer pair of pale blue shantung silk platforms trimmed in daisy chains--positively divine, and a perfect fit :)

Shoe HEAVEN! These are so cute and I love for fun and bright and colorful they are!
