Great stuff everyone. I love that blouse Eliza. I wonder if we have a Dress Barn in Minnesota?

I did well this weekend. I got a vintage coat (1960's I think) in red wool with a cool asymetrical fur collar. It's amazingly taylored. I have to patch the lining and find a giant hook and eye. I also got a grey wool pencil skirt with red and white modified plaid design and a red cable knit cardigan. I have a ? about the cardigan so I'll post pics tomorrow.

Dress Barn? Wow. That must be the best thing to ever come out of Dress Barn!

Mary - what a shame about that dress. The print is really amazing. Maybe you can copy the dress to make with other fabric and use some of the fabric from this dress to make something else, like a blouse.

The print is wonderful! To bad the fabric is so brittle:( It's not wearable at all. I'm hoping to make a pattern from it because the dress itself is amazing!

Oh that's too bad. It looks like it NEEDS to be worn. :(

I've been feeling really lousy lately, and when I feel lousy, I shop.

Hopefully, somehow, I'll find somewhere to wear this one to:

That sweater is incredible! It will definitely be worth whatever price you paid for it! The shoe are quite wonderful too! :)

Also, hausfrau, I got both on ebay, in a rare case of luck for me. Thanks for the comment. :)

Yay! I'm glad a lounger won that sweater. It's so beautiful I had dreams about owning it.

Here are pictures of last weekends purchases.

I had to hem the skirt and it's still pretty long but the kick pleet was really low. It must have belonged to a tall woman.

deadpandiva, I love love LOVE that coat! As a newbie here, I think it will be impossible to make friends as I am churning with jealousy!

Even at my smallest size in adult life, I never had the tiny waist for vintage clothing. I try to content myself with vintage gloves (love!), vintage aprons (they just make me feel like a lady) and jewelry. A girl can never have too many brooches. :)

Welcome to the lounge Lola. I'm glad you're here. Maybe you can be of some future help to me as I need to start collecting gloves and jewelry and don't know much about either.
The coat was a very lucky find for me.
