So I spent saturday at some of my favorite vintage spots and found some really nice things. I ran across a lady who doesn't sell vintage clothing but had some things that were given to her by her mother. She sold me all these for 12 bucks each. This once again proves to me that it pays to be friendly to people as you never know what treasures they might be willing to give you! lol After a trip to the dry cleaners they should be wonderful!

Yes, the vintage gods were apparently smiling on me yesterday! That's the thing about hunting for vintage...sometimes you hit the jackpot and other times it's nothing! For awhile now I've been finding nothing, I thought maybe I messed up my vintage karma or something! I guess not.

Ain't that the truth? I have been checking this vintage store for YEARS and only recently found a couple items. Apparently, they move stuff fast.

I found this at the Salvation Army. It is a sweet baby blue and much heavier than modern slips. I was actually surprised that the shirred cups and wide straps were able to support my girls enough on it's own, i may just wear it as a night gown.

The print is wonderful! To bad the fabric is so brittle It's not wearable at all. I'm hoping to make a pattern from it because the dress itself is amazing!
