Bought this just in time for winter. It is getting cold in the city.

I noticed your overcoat has hidden buttons too.
How do you like this feature? I think it adds a neat appearance to the outfit.

I like it. It has 3 large hidden buttons and a smaller button at the throat to button the collar closed for really nasty weather. It's a very streamlined look with it buttoned. I was surprised to find the early union label in this one, I figured at first glance this was out of the 50's or 60's judging from the hidden buttons and the like new condition. Learn something new all the time.:)
I've got a 1950 dated example and a couple others yet to photograph.

Here is an old favourite in need of some TLC. I've had it since 1993 and the worst wear seems to be pilling and and a few stiches loose around the velvet in the collar.

Nice, Feraud. The coloring, texture and buttons of your overcoat look very similar to my Dior Casablanca trench. It's a distinctive color, a bit more 'manilla' than the typical tan overcoats you find(don't have any color photos at the moment, unfortunately).

And of course, Paddy's sharp as ever. I really need to get a single-breasted tweed coat.

Except his collar being popped. Why, oh why is Feraud a slave to trends now? :p

Seriously, that's nice. Who's the gent in the middle in the other picture? I can't tell right off the bat.

I have this for sale in the Classifieds.

It is tagged as a 44 but much bigger than that.

It's exactly what I want but just too big even to alter for me.

Pierre Cardin dark khaki tench coat. Perfect condition, no alterations, 4 season wool blend gabardine, fully lined with satin lining, hidden placart front buttons, belted with leather "trench" buckle belt, cuffs are tab with single button..this piece is tagged 44 and has rear vent..all the classic features, that you will love. Measurements are shoulders 22", chest 53", tummy 54", sleeve is 25" from shoulder and total length measured from back of collar seam is 47".

I invested in a decidedly non-vintage, but beautiful nonetheless, All Saints mac -

Keeps me warm, dry and stylish, although it does get grubby quite easily...
