Then, around 1995, when they were getting too tight on the chest and I needed something bigger, I decided to upgrade them and look at better jackets - and I merely thought I'd just replace those two with better versions ...
And so today, it seems that this is what I need to get by:

IXL that is incredible! I've had an ongoing love affair with BMW cycles since I was a kid. That looks like a fantastic ride. It would be interesting to hear what you are riding these days, if not the bimmer.

Well, you can look on these lists as either inspiriational or cautionary tales - for the latter, Mr I-have-separate-buildings-for-my-wardrobe, I'm looking at you... Mind you, next time the missus moans about another jacket, you've become my first line of defence.

Oh dear, it isn't just the clothes, although they do fill every wardrobe in the house, we have things like valve wireless, vacuum cleaners, bakerlite hairdryers, finger dial telephones, treadle sewing machines, and, and, and.......................most of which the Romans left behind.

Did I mention the red telephone kiosk? Or the gas street lights?
My next door neighbour, is the head honcho of the local council enviromental department. They had some condemned street lights, that were electric converted from the original gas. I bought a couple, and converted them back to gas, although they are not connected to the mains gas supply, they run off Calor Gas. The phone box I bought for just a few quid, but it cost a lot more to refurbish.

Now if you have an original, old coin currency, public telephone..........

I've always loved the old BMWs -- especially the R69s. But I'll tell you what -- the new BMW r nine t looks bad ass. I just can't find a dealer who has one to test ride.
