My question is, why is the word "favorite" in the thread header spelled with u in the middle, British Commonwealth style? I thought you were a Yank, BW. (Nothing against those of the Commonwealth...)

Thankfully my wife has many of the old shows on DVD.
Emergency, Hawaii Five O (the DVD's are darn near HD!), Columbo, MASH, etc.
Many of these are also on Netflix streaming.
Yeah it's a shame about Crime Story, that was a well written show.
I guess Michael Mann just had too much going with Miami-Vice and this one just suffered because of it.
Then again, you can only take stories so far....

Agreed on Hill Street Blues, and for some reason the entire series is not released on DVD.
The same goes for St. Elsewhere.
I know, demand verses cost....
