There was another show whose title I can't think of. It was about a sitcom about a TV family from the 1950s who find themselves transported to the 1980s or 90s which is when this show came out.
Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. One of the freshest and funniest shows ever. Replaced by Hee Haw, one of the cheesiest.
Tour of Duty! Boy, we loved that show.
Was there an episode when they were overrun by VC
and brought the base down on their own heads?
Was there a tag line "See you in hell?"
Trapper John MD was on some cable station awhile back, and we started getting into it, only to find out they only had 2 seasons!
Gidget, granted I was not born when the series ran. I watched the reruns on TV. And with most TV shows past and present on DVD it sparkes a whole new generation of intrest. Especially since I was first introduced to vintage from rerun TV shows on cable free TV.
I do not remember Trapper John MD running that short. I looked the show up and it stated the show ran from 1979-1986. And that it was the longest running spin off from M*A*S*H.
It ran longer.
I know many stations buy a package of shows. Apparently the station (family tv?) bought a package that only had 2 seasons.
Kinda stinks though, because we were just getting into it, and the show ISN'T on DVD.
