Hut-Schick Wien, measures about 59cm, made of Wool probably 1930s.

Thank you, this made my day. Settled in with some schnapps in my coffee and enjoyed each image with fervor. Gawd, I need a cigarette now...Sorry for all the posts. Most of the hats are from the last year or so (also some from the past).
All time favorite Steve! Keep em' coming. I'm loving this.Berlin Gubener Hutfabrik "Turf", Weather - Proof, Crown Open 5 1/2, Brim 2 1/2 inches, 55cm probably later 1930s. I have been looking for a B.G.H. hat for a long time. Berlin Gubener Hutfabrik was the largest hat factory (Wool and Fur Felt divisions) in Germany but didn't survive WWII. I think they must have sold mostly non branded hats to distributors, whole sellers and large retail establishments. The mixed color felt on this hat is really extraordinary. Also great form and interesting Bow and Over Welt This is now one of my favorite hats even though I can't wear it. What is interesting is this hat was distributed by Friedrich W. Schneider Köln (still in business today and own Stetson Europe) for Jung Augsburg (also still in business today).
Open Crown
Qual. / Quality Turf
Farbe / Color: Azalee / Azalea
55 / 55cm
F.W.S. Koeln / Friedrich W. Schneider Köln
Meh / Mehrfarbig / Multicolored
Alles Unter Einem Gubener Hut!
MMMMMMMmmmmm! What a beautiful brim curl.G. M. probably late 1800s. Could be Georg Miech Haydnstrs. 37 Dresden. King Albert of Saxony (1873-1902) on the liner medallion.
This appears to be the original packing paper.
Wowza Steve! This has been quite the journey. Hard to pick favorites, I'm drawn to the beautiful velours. But those stiff felts... Thanks for the effort you put into this series. I'm into my second cup of coffee/schnapps...Carl Zeumer Magazin Zum PFAU, Pfau-Hut, size 58cm, 156 grams, probably 1920s. It could be a Fur - Wool blend. It wears very soft + light and is in very good condition. Not sure what company made it for Carl Zeumer Magazin Zum PFAU. There is a paper label on the backside of the sweatband but not worth taking a chance of damaging the sweatband to check.
Steve, wonderful posts!
Bob, Thanks! I have neglected this great thread so had a backlog.Steve -- amazing additions! In think you now "own" that last several pages of this thread.

That is really something else. Fantastic! Size 55 is too small even for me; pity...Berlin Gubener Hutfabrik "Turf", Weather - Proof, Crown Open 5 1/2, Brim 2 1/2 inches, 55cm probably later 1930s. Stefan, Thanks! You have done a fantastic job of finding great European vintage / antique hats. Please keep them coming!Never be sorry for posting hats, Steve; we love them as much as you do (but are less adept at finding them). Great looking hats, all of them.
Stefan, It's probably more like 54cm so really tiny. This is the only branded BGH branded hat I have come across. I might have some others but no company mark. That is really something else. Fantastic! Size 55 is too small even for me; pity...
