Well. I am not getting the jacket after all. Seller refused to send it to the proxy. I got a refund minus the exchange rate spread. I have had second hand stores refusing to deal with proxy before but this is a first for me from a private seller.

As said seller won't deal with proxy, probably don't wanna sell to overseas or seller demands certain payment method that proxy won't do.

Here you go. Come to think of it. The seller might have used that as an excuse to cancel the transaction but in reality he thinks the final bid is too low.

I have a similar jacket (though not the same). It's nice that these come with relatively long sleeves.

That happened to me a few times this month too. I think some (store) sellers price things low and hoping for bidding war but sometimes no bidding wars so they have their own snipers as insurance. Usually from stores though, indie sellers are usually the 3 no's. I hope the Yahoo auctions don't pick up Ebay's shady practices.

Not the same because I was the only bidder and I won. Seller just refused to honour.

Hi everyone. This is my first vintage jacket and I am blown away by the quality and feel of a 70 year old leather jacket! It won’t be my last.

It looks like the B-15 bomber model but without the mouton collar.

It has the leather label.

The knitting is still in good shape and the patina is great.

Nice find. The leather tag is short lived, late 40s early 50s. These are basically tough horsehide jackets very popular, as you can see.
