Nice jacket ton. Is this a half-belt or has cinch straps?
It’s low level straps. At the waist!

So I’ve spent some time with this guy and I’m not sure I’ll keep it. It’s one of those “if only” jackets. For me if only the back were even 1/2” longer. The hem seems to curve upward toward the shoulder making it feel exceedingly short in back (23.75”).has about 1.5” front drop. Seems unusual for this pattern. I figured it would be blunt cut at the hem. I’m torn. Fit otherwise feels pretty good. It’s measures much larger at the chest than advertised, 23.5” so I can get my vest and a thin flannel under it no prob.

I can see what you mean about the back Tony but to me, I think it's borderline . . . Still a keeper. I second Boyo's advice, which is very cleverly stated (what's another year on a 70 year jacket).

IMO it fits you perfectly. The kind of... You know how when Aero HWM fits right, it fits right - That sorta way.

That rising cut is unusual. But look at it this way, it is in the back, and you can't see it when you are wearing it! Not even when you pass a mirror. I would rather have it a bit short in the rear than in the front, and even though short, it still covers your belt in the rear. Would I keep it? Yes, as it would work for me .

@ton312 I think that jacket fits amazingly well. Not too short at all in my opinion. Obviously it's your choice, but I think the fit is spot on from wear I'm sitting and it's a gorgeous jacket to boot!

Yours has a cleaner pocket set up too. These are just soooo good. Really the perfect Halfbelt IMO.
You are right. Mine is probably closer to Mrfrown's save for the cuffs and hardware.

Urad does wonder on your jackets but cannot find Urad here and shipping usually costs as much as the product itself. May try using shoe cream. I usually use shoe cream to touch up but the faded area on this jacket is quite large.
Correction shipping is double the price of the product

That’s a shame! I love the stuff and the brown Urad is particularly nice for old ponies.

Well. I am not getting the jacket after all. Seller refused to send it to the proxy. I got a refund minus the exchange rate spread. I have had second hand stores refusing to deal with proxy before but this is a first for me from a private seller.
