More shots of Thedi from today

Really like this jacket, it’s comfortable, layers well without any fuss, leather is by far the most beautiful I’ve personally handled.

It’s something I jumped on in the moment that I perhaps wouldn’t have made my first choice but am glad I did.

I can’t shake the feeling that it is a touch too big in the body, but it’s partially an optical illusion from patch pockets on the midsection. The kind of nagging thing that a remake would probably not fix but is part of the continual search for jacket perfection.

Biggest downside I’ve found is that the buttons tend to get caught in my little one’s long hair…ouch!

Such a cool jacket! One of Thedi's best designs imo, giving a Cossack the collar of a trucker.

I'm not of huge fan of the rounded collar we see on most cossack designs.

Personally I really like the rounded collar of the cossack designs - in fact I bought 2 such jackets...my Thedi and my Himel Heron. And that one looks great on you, Marc (in my opinion)!

I like that it gives a different look. Most of my jackets have the "regular" pointed collar, so these cossack jackets stand out.

Also if I am wearing a hoodie underneath, I prefer the way the hood falls/looks outside the jacket with the rounded collar than the pointed one.

I have already posted these elsewhere in TFL, but thought it might also be useful to collate and share them here on the dedicated Thedi thread…..”burgundy” midweight HH, with brown and black detachable mouton collars….one of my very favourite and also most versatile jackets, and incredibly beautifully made…. Do you have any fit pictures of this yet? It’s amazing. I’m emailing with Theodoros about something really similar.

Beautiful looking fit IMO, well done!

Second Thedi just arrived, it's a mackinaw style in brown horsehide and flannel lining. Leather and craftsmanship are out of this world, and the coat is still surprisingly versatile. I absolutely love it and will wear the heck out of it for the remaining winter and early spring.

Yes, I ordered through Thedi directly. It says on the jacket its a size L but I'm sure there are some exceptions in some panels. Chest could have been roomier, but as it's double breasted I'm glad it isn't.

I'm sorry but I have to clarify. Did you give Thedi special wishes about breast size?

That's pretty cool, which brown horsehide is that and how do you find it compares with your other thedi jacket in deerskin when it comes to thickness/drape/feel
