Steton Golden Century....

This one was a present to myself, I just couldn't pass it up. The color is amazing and I couldn't really capture it correct, too bad. :eusa_doh:

I couldn't find a color stamp under the sweat of this one either.

Thanks a bunch Bill for thinking of me on this one, it's nice to get one from your extensive and amazing collection. :eusa_clap:

I will definitely wear it w/pride my friend.

Cocoa Borso.....

I pretty much stole this one last week on ebay, I'm sure you've seen it there. It definitely needed a major stretch, it was a very tight 6 7/8. I thought Sue would grab this one for sure, then again it may be too stingy for her, anyway, I'm sure glad she didn't. :D

The Liner and sweat are in perfect shape, until I split it during the stretch. :eusa_doh:

Under $13 and change. :D Any Idea on it's age?

This was one of my Wish list hats, I found it on ebay a few weeks ago and the Mrs. said I can have it for my Birthday, but I had to wait.......well, that's tomorrow, so the wait is finally over. :D

Sorry about the blurry pics, I was kinda anxious. [huh]

The color is kind of a Peanut Butter brown, very nice.

I couldn't find an actual color marked under the sweat.

Great colors, and one of the best hat models ever.

something different ...

Are you sure it doesn't actually say 'MONSTER' (rather than 'Muster') on that label? As in Frankenstein, or 'Scary.....'??

Still, it's more aesthetically pleasing than some of the more "fashion aware" abominations you see (some of) the youth of today sporting in the streets...

My 'new' Stratoliner arrived!~
And ..YEP...
its silverbelly.
Very nice shape, could stand a naptha bath. [which I hope to give it in the next week or so]
Brim is 2 5\8s, front pinch comes in at 4 7\8s and the back of the crown
is 4 1\2, and I have a hand creased c-crown in it. Very hand creased.
Overall a very nice Stetson Stratoliner!!

Thank you, Mr. Tutt!

Welcome to the Lounge Squaresville.

The hat's a beauty! Any chance of some more shots of the interior - the lining and the sweatband (and any other tags and lables under the sweatband)? It would help give the experts around here a better idea of its vintage.

No other tags under the sweatband but here are the other photos:

Yeah, and it's got that wonderful golden color grosgrain. I love the old ones with that instead of the matching silverbelly colored ribbon. Very nice, Rusty. :eusa_clap

Thats a nice one, Bolt; I like that color. The other two posted below are nice too. You do go for those stingys and they look good on you. Thanks for saving Sue and Texas from that cocoa Borsalino stingy though...:D

Very nice Stratoliner Rusty! Good height on the crown and I bet the crease is up to your usual standards, as well.
