Hey Brent, ummmm WOW. That's a really good-looking hat, and it's somehow better because (in my opinion) the colors don't match the style at all. Brown and dark green would be a great, but obvious campaign hat, or hiking hat, but not a fedora. Hummmmmmm. you never know what's next.Modern Stetson Royal De Luxe Whippet. The color is cognac and the ribbon and binding are a nice green (not for everyone, but i think it works).

Pictured with my new Campdraft is an older first Cousin a Circa 1955 Army Slouch also made by Akubra.....
I REALLY like the contrast of the ribbon work!
Congrats on the CD, Mark. Love the Slouch, but the Boater in the middle is the perfect subtle photo-bomb. What a ribbon, too.Arrived today from One 2 Mini Ranch..........

That’s a shame, that’s a real good lookin hat, Bob.Early 1950s (?) Resistol "Regent" as delivered (a too small hat in a too small box).

Another box had four hats in it. They were packed quite well inside a heavy old Dobbs hat box with lots of padding and a couple of small boxes cut and arranged to stop (or at least slow down) any crushing. Kudos to that auction house.
We'll start with this Lion Hats (a Langenberg brand). It does have some stains or mottling that I hope will clean up.

And, what was probably original to the Dobbs box, this lord's hat (my first!) with a Cavanagh Edge. Not willing to check behind the sweat for a tag until I condition it. According to the Hatted Professor this hat is likely from the mid-1930s based on the liner rondel and the "Improved Cavanagh Edge" debossment. Once I can get a look at the factory sticker I'll share it.

I could not wear this hat as it is for "Youthful Smartness" and I am neither . However a great hat for you!!! Interesting bow work on it.
