Received my pre-'46/Stetson takeover Mallory Twelve-Fifty yesterday. The color is Mallory's Snow, very apropos given the blizzard besieging Minnesota today.

It is a magnificent hat in every way. As creased, the crown stands 5-1/4" at the front. 2" black grosgrain ribbon with wind trolley. The brim is a full 3" all around, with a beautifully executed underwelt which appears similar to a Cav edge from above. The felt is dense yet supple, with a wondrous hand.

Delectans, that is one of the most beautiful hats I have seen in a long time. I know that you will feel good about yourself while wearing that beautiful hat.

That's a good price,Did you have to clean the Feathered band?if so how did you do it Cleaning materials,Steam,Etc?
I have some older cowboy hats from that Era I think they are great,I am just learning about cleaning,care Etc.
BTW the hat looks good on you,What kind of hat are you wearing in the old pic you posted?It looks like it felt and a dark color do you still have it?
