I'm considering buying a new model Stetson, maybe one of this fall's vintage line.

Felt similar weight to a Stetson Playboy. 2-1/2" underwelt brim. From E.M. Scarbrough and Sons of Austin, Texas (from 1893 to the present).

A 1940's or 50's Stetson western I got a few months ago, just now getting around to posting photos.

New stylemaster

Here is my new stylemaster after my first bit of work with it...

There is still something a little off with the brim...

Sorry for the sloppy t-shirt - I was just trying to get a head shot...

It's still a little loose. I'm either going to let it shrink naturally or give it the water mist and put it in my garage during the day where is gets about 120 degrees. The acorn fawn color is pretty well depicted in the first two shots in my opinion.
