Excellent condition but rather malodorous.

rlk you seem to have a large collection of hats and they fit you well. Do you have a pic of your collection?

Black velour, measures 59cm, crown 5 inches creased, brim 2 1/8 inch. The ribbon is from Optimo. Slick, shiny, very pliable old style velour.

Wow Steve: that is exactly the kind of hat I want built in the near future, except 5" exactly open crowned. I REALLY like this hat. Don't know how I missed it when you posted it. :eusa_clap

I just got this VS Jazzman in the mail. I bought it BIN on ebay - I know, I'm having a VS built for me but I just couldn't wait when I saw this go up in my size. I figured I could keep it in the FL family...

The colors are beautiful. It's a little furry.

It came open crown. I first put the "original" center dent back in it. It seemed too tall and overwhelmed me, so I tried a different bash.

As it currently sits...

I'm going to leave it like this for a bit.

Killer Jazzman!

Suggestion to all...

Please delete images when replying to a post unless a particular one is required to make a specific point. It is repetitive and takes up alot of space when going over posts.

Thank you for your consideration

Ever thought of trying this site? (Or a similar one). Since signing on with them, I've won a MUCH higher percentage of the auctions I bid on, and rarely miss an auction I intend to bid on- or any sleep because of it!

Borsalino Export Qualität

Black, size 5 1/2 Punti, missing wind trolley button, probably early 1960s late 1950s. The brim can be worn up or down. I have a Wegener and Mayser of similar style and weight. In hand this would not feel like most Borsalinos people have encountered.

DRB, Thanks! I like the shape too. I have a hard time taking photos of this type of finish. The ribbon is actually a lighter green.

Light brown with Antelope finish. Size 60cm, brim 2 5/8 inches, 5 inch crown creased. This one has a really nice finish and is in NOS condition. Ernst Köln was a men's store in Köln so not sure of the maker.

Very nice, Steve. You can almost feel that finish, just from the photos! Beautiful.

Cheers,

Wegener Homburg

Black, size 59cm probably early 1960s. All around super high quality and in great condition. Wegener detail work is some of the finest I have encountered.
