Thank you StefanLovely hat, Joe. And a brim with attitude; great!

Welcome home, StefanQuite a few came in this week. In order of preference starting at the bottom.
Arlesia woolfelt feora. Size 56 with the overwelt brim at 5cm and the crwon at 11cm at the center dent. That it's at the bottom of the heap of this batch doesn't mean it's a bad hat. As far as woolfelts go it's quite good actually. What made me buy it is that I already own an Arlesia woolfelt brown lords hat I really like. No labels underneath the sweatband.

Second one going up is this one.
Brummel's Corso in steel grey. Size 56 with the bound brim at 5cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. This one teeters on the verge of being a "little hat" due to its proprotions. The hand of the felt is wonderful and the colour is great, but it is one of their later hats. The earlier ones are overall of even higher quality. If a Brummel's end up near the bottom it should tell you something about what is coming.

Some great new additions Stefan. I like the liner on the BrummellThird one coming up.
Willoughby camber style hat in grey. Size 57 with the overwelt brim at 5cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. Unlined but it did have a liner once. Likely a Madelios liner, the retailer for which it was made. No labels underneath the sweatband except a small size indicator. This one came with a small bluejay feather. The quality is everything we've come to expect from Willoughby.

Thanks, Steve. Good to be back, even though we've had snow this week! I'll post a few snaps of my Dublin trip.Welcome home, Stefan
Love the art deco type liner tip and the art nouveau style logo on the Arlesia.
Thank you, Joe. More are coming. Some great new additions Stefan. I like the liner on the Brummell
Striking hat!My oddball Robley hat arrived, it being from the Atlanta hat store of that name. I think it does have some beaver content. The crown is pretty malleable but the brim is quite stiff. Brim is 2 5/8 front and back, 2 3/4 on sides. Crown is 5 1/2 inches open There are no tags or anything to identify the origin or maker of it.
Stefan, Again super find! Definitely don't see many 1930 and older S. J. Fraenkel Wien Hats and this Velour is fantastic. Overall great series of finds.Final one (this round ).
Fraenkel Wien velours made for Edka Le Chapelier. Size 59 with the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Maybe it isn't on par with Hückel's highest velour hats, but it's pretty damn close for sure. Tough to find these Fraenkel hats as well (I don't have one myself), so a good find on any day. Apart from some light staining on the liner it is in excellent condition as well. No need to further explain why it came in first.

Can't beat a good Bowler, Stefan, even if it's hard to define. If someone told me I'd rank a bowler higher than two Willoughby hats I would have questioned their common sense. But here we are. This one took me by surprise to be honest.
Clarence Epsom bowler in a size 56. Bound brim at 5cm and the crown at about 12cm. This one fits me like a glove and has some really wonderful feeling felt. There are 17 bowlers in my collection and none of them fit me as well as this one does. Couple it with nice finishing and great felt and you've got yourself a winner. Hard to say where it was made to be honest as there are no labels under the sweat.

Thanks, gentlemen. Good finds like these keeps us coming back (well me at least). What a haul!
Thanks, Steve. Have to agree; the hats it came with all came from Belgium. Can't beat a good Bowler, Stefan, even if it's hard to define.
Clarence and Epsom point deceptively to an English maker. I'm more inclined to believe it's more Benelux.
That's a cool find, Joe. The lettering on the sweat and liner tip point towards an early one. Dunn didn't make hats, but it's impossible to say who made this one because the label is generic. Certainly an unusual style for Dunn though.View attachment 497086
G.A. Dunn & Co. - Oatmeal
Very light tan/oatmeal felt
Approx 4 1/2 crown as shaped
5/16 contrasting felted hatband
2 5/8 brim with Raw edge
This very cool G.A. Dunn and Co came to me via a lounge friend who unfortunately for him did not fit. I know I’ve said in the past I don’t need anymore “Silverbelly-ish” thin ribbon hats…. But the more I look at this hat the more I realize there are exceptions to rules and this hat was made to break rules! The felt is more of a light oatmeal in color with a sort of speckled texture to it. And the hat band is a very neat dark brown felt stitched into a ribbon design.
It does have a fair share of mothing… but is really doesn’t stand out much and is the “character” kind. Another hat that really needed nothing other than sitting out in the sun for a bit to decompress from its travel from coast to coast. I decided to steam in a bubble to the crown so that my head doesn’t keep rubbing and ruining the very delicate and slightly cracked/torn cellophane logo tip protector.
Thanks go out to my hat friend Sammy for thinking of me. I believe this one will go into heavy rotation with the hot summer weather on its way.
