It is a nice open weave Fred. How is the sweat? is there a logo in the crown (tip patch)? That pug might just clean up, and probably can be ironed. Or, a new pug of a more colorful flavor could be added. I dig this one.

Thanks, Mike. I dig this one, too. It's got a "supple" feel to it, and the fit is perfect! Here's a shot of the inside: sweat, logo, etc.

This one should be good for really hot days, lots of air conditioning. With the "R" in the Knox logo on the sweat, this one is from the early 70s to the early 80s. I wonder when they quit bothering with a Long Oval?

This is the second Bailey that was part of a two hat deal on eBay. This is a 5X in a very dark brown.

This will receive some reshaping in days to come. These were my first Bailey hats as I had eschewed them in the past as cheap mass-market items. The 8X is quite nice and this 5X has some potential. They were both new with tags old stock and the price was ridiculously cheap. Cheap + 7 5/8 = Mine. :)

Thanks, Mike. I take the word "vintage" with a grain of salt. It's nice to know that I didn't just buy some mass-market knock-off from China! The reason I bought it was the long oval sizing, and now that it's been on the old bean, I'm pretty sure it's going to get a lot of time there!

Today arrivals:
Vintage 1963 Prada. Except for the stains on the lining, it's flawless.

Knox. I think this is not that old but is in wearable condition. They all came together for only $30, so...

Prada Luxo homburg, also from 1963. It needs a brim binding replacement, but the fur felt is in perfect condition.
