Fruno, Charlie, 65 Classic, Daniele, Thanks! I will take a photo of me wearing it later today!

J.Hückel´s Söhne / Jaques Mayer "Standard". These photos show the color better.

I'll be honest and say that I don't even know what that means ... this is my first Adam
I assume it is a notch in their quality hierarchy ... don't know where it is on that list thought

From what I understand, Majestic may have been on par or just below Executive Quality. You owe it to yourself to digest Adam Alley, and post your hat there when you get the chance.

Hey everyone!
Here's something I won on ebay just a couple of hours before I won the Tonak. It was an impulse bid, just looked cool. It is a Berg Lord's hat (I believe) that appeared to be in really good shape. It arrived at tge same time as the Tonak.
Outwardly, it looked pristine. Usually I will message a seller with questions about the sweatband, but it was Easter afternoon with just a coupke hours left on the auction, so I bid just on the pics. The sweat, while perfect looking, was bone dry and stiff as an embroidery hoop.
Oops..
I have had good success with Lexol on other dry sweats, but I'd never tried it on one this dry. Good news, the sweat is now limber enough to wear. Bad news, it has begun to deteriorate on the edge. Hopefully it won't go past the edge. I guess it will be an occasional wearer unless I feel like replacing the sweat.
Anyway, here it is.

In the last two pics you can see the deterioration. Brim is about 2 1/4" when flat. Crown just a bit under 5". Has a gold size tag that looks HCA, but I didn't see a factory tag. Guess on age is 60's
Hopefully the entire sweatband won't fall apart. But if it does, I'll have a project!

I own a few "Majestics" Anthony. Nice hat. Without the liner it is a little harder to date. I only have one Adam with the logo on the sweet that matches yours. Here's a pic of the hat and the liner. Early to mid 1950's I think.

Too cool, Robert! I had not seen that. Is there a way to correlate the years on those? I have the Executive brown top hats.
Jim, I found that link somewhere on the "Adam Alley" thread . It was stated that the logos are in chronological order but not dated .... unfortunately.

Berg was, indeed, an HCA brand. This hat is probably 1969-ish to 1972, the same time that the Dobbs Americana (same hat as your Berg, with a curled, unbound brim edge) was popular.

Thanks, Professor!
Good news...I walked 6 miles in it and sweated it up good, and no bits of leather came off on my forehead, so I hope the sweatband isn't going to disintegrate.
