It's been a while since I converted my Snowy, I forgot how big that brim was...
No, regular one, but it is still so nice...this mink color rocksNice, Chamuco. The Temple is a great hat. Is the 150th Royal Quality?
Its very intimidating lol. It will take some getting accustomed toIt's been a while since I converted my Snowy, I forgot how big that brim was...
Now that I'm paying more attention to them, I find it interesting that so many hats worn in movies from the 1930s and 1940s have such imperfectly shaped crowns. I can only imagine it's a reflection of those times, and that a lot of men in those days weren't particular or meticulous about the shapes their hats attained through daily use.I rather dislike the overdone "hat sprezzatura" with bumps and bashes all over the place. I don't want a hat to look like a piece of factory shaped plastic, but also not like a hat that has accidentally been sat on. I particularly don't care for the messy manipulation of the top crown...
I can't make out the line at the top, but the "banner" says "The Hatterie", and beneath that "Akron, Ohio".Got this on a whim to salvage and resell. I cant make out the maker. Anybody know anything? Would like some info before i sell
A Stetson Imperial I bought at one of their outlet stores when I was thru there back in the spring.
The hat looks good on you! I'm happy that a Lounge member grabbed it! It was mine. Looks great on ya! Njoy, sir! Yes. Buffalo is the color.I had thought that BUFFALO was the place it was shipped to and sold. Alan corrected me in The Cavanagh Club thread. It is the color. haha
I received this a couple of days ago out of the bay. It’s my first Cavanagh. I figure it’s no newer than the 1950s, but I really don’t know.
More details and photos of this hat in The Cavanagh Club thread.
