my new Bob Jessee hat
After sending bob photos, and bob browsing through vintage adds. Wanting a hat that would fit within 1860's to 1890's. I gave Bob at Blacksheep hatworks full reign on design and to make me something one of a kind. Its a 3 in a half inch brim, with about half an inch flat iron pencil roll (keeping it traditional), a vintage 2 inch yellow ribbon with frayed ends. Long hair mossy green western beaver felt. Side dents and center dent. As well as hand pressed copper leaves instead of feathers. When i picked up the Copperpot, Bob showed me these leaves made by an artist their in seattle, and i told him one day those will go in my hat.
These photos are from my final view, it is being shipped out to me this week, the liner may be paisley with flowers, but i'll show the inside with new photos when i get it in person.
Bob did a fantastic job, and need i say more, here's the photos.
i am beyond extatic for my new lid. Bob, FANTASTIC work.
