I got it from the Panama Hat Shop https://panamahatshop.com/en/Nice! Where did you get it from? I like that crown

Very niceMy new Montecristi 18 grade colonial arrived today from Equator! I love it!
Just received the long term summer forcast for this year......unseasonably cold and wet. Maybe ZERO panama days for me this year. Most of us are waiting for that, Robert
What part of
White Panama hats have been bleached to look that way. Over time they will naturally discolour. So you may be looking at getting a new hat every few years to “freshen up your flow”Can anyone suggest a good place to buy a cheap Panama hat from the Uk. I like the white bleached look and would like it to be foldable for travel.
I previously bought one from Tumia :
https://www.tumi.co.uk/collections/panama-hats/products/panama-hat
But after three years of light wear it has turned yellow and started to split. However still not bad for a hat under £50 and better then M&S, etc.
I am also looking at a cheap hat from panama hats direct:
https://panamahatsdirect.com/shop/panama-hat/cuenca-grade-1-classic-fedora-7166.html
The advantage with Panama hats direct is that I can choose some nice bands but almost half the cost is going on shipping.
I am also close to London, so I could check out all the gentleman hat fitters but I have a feeling they are going to be more expensive then online.
I could go up to £100 but as bleached hats seem to have a short life, I don't want to spend too much.
Anyone else have any other suggestions ?

Nice find! I really like it......The retailer was Aqua Terra in Panama City, Florida, but I don’t know who made it. The brim is approximately 3 1/4” wide not counting the curl (4” total). The crown is 4 1/4” high at the front.

Soooo, does it fit you??
It is calling my name.......Nope, it’s definitely too small for me. As far as I can tell, it fits true to size for a 7 1/2. The hat is reserved for you until you say you don’t want it: no hurry.
Panama Hats Direct is having a sale. I’m not a huge Panama hat guy, but I got a couple; this is the nicer of the two:

I’ll switch out the ribbons when they arrive.
Hi Brent! Yes. That's a nice touch. I've received quality service from PHD with every purchase. They have a nice sale indeed.I forgot the PHD sends you update photos as the hats are finished out:
