...only if he sells one to buy another, pushing the second hat's price :) It's a zero-sum market.

But Justin's prices have always seemed more than fair, even with limited supply and Dr-Max-Demand!

Let's help get these hats to market, Ivano has a lot to offer and is being very nice.

Tried to send those via a personal message but I have not been able to sort this out yet.

In the meantime these are the five fedoras by Pietro Fratelli & CA. I have taken some close ups of the info on the lining. Interesting even though these hats appear to have never been worn there is no other (nothing at all) underneath the sweat band. The only observation I have is thy the sweat band has that string going through which all my Borsalino's have.
Has anyone ever heard of this Cinq Grand Prix written on the liner? As usual I welcome and quite enjoy the input. The sizes on these 5 are 2 at 6,3/4,and 3 at 7,3/8
Thanks Ivano. The photos could help if I only find somenthing on Pietro Fratelli & CA. Tomorrow I will check some books and old newspapers of those years to see if possible to have more informations. The "Golden medals" and Grand Prix won are a sort of status for the hats producers during the first halsf of the last century. Borsalino is one of the example. The prizes are marketing plus for the buyers.
I'm interested in hats 7 3/8 and 7 1/2 except Stetson and Borsalino. I see the chests open

THE LEWIS HAT FACTORY TRURO NOVA SCOTIA.
Apparently the factory started production in 1938. At its peak as many as 900 people worked there. You gotta love the blues...
Of the ten that I have 4 are 7,3/8, 2 at 7,1/4,2 at 7,1/8(including that navy blue fur) and 2 at 6,7/8. Two of these have these paper rings that came with them. All of these were never worn. Enjoy
