For Sale-Borsalino Fedora 1978, 7 3/8, Tag 60--$120 plus $10 post
Vintage 1978 Borsalino Fedora Hat, Quality Superiore
Date: 1978 according to white tag
Color: Gray with black ribbon
Open Crown
Size: 7 3/8 inches actual size fit
Tag says 60 which is size 7 1/2, but actual fit is a comfortable 7 3/8
Brim = 2 1/8 inch brim with stitching on edge
Crown = 4 1/2 inches at the pinch
Ribbon = 1 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
Size = 7 3/8
Length of opening = 8 1/8"
Width of opening = 6 5/8"
Circumference: 23.16 circumference
Made in Italy
Felt is featherweight, light weight, quite soft and pliable.
Condition: liner was missing, but I have another Borsalino liner I put in that fit nicely, no moth bites, no odors, no stains found, felt may need some stiffening since it is so lightweight. Can hardly feel it in your head.
Please know your exact head size, no returns please unless hat is not as described. Some blokes like to order and then want to try on and later return if it doesn't fit perfectly. Buying hats online is always a gamble and learning experience.
