Another mystery hat. Who knows, after a naptha bath it might be alright. Poor photos and a poorer description.

They do use corded ribbon on some of their hats. I have a few with five cord ribbon and one with six cord as well. Size 7 is it?

You have way more experience with Borsalino and their variations than I do.

The seller said it was 23.5” in circumference, and she accepted my offer of half her asking price. I figure that if I buy them right I’ll either have a hat that fits and I love, or I’ll be able to flip it without loosing money.

That's sound reasoning, Brent. I don't think you'll go wrong with that Borsa. From the ones I own, the ribbed ribbon ones are the extra extra superiore and the lightweight ones. If it's in half-decent nick it'll be a winner.

For those playing the Guess the Mystery $6 hat...we were all wrong except for those being facetious. Dobbs was the leading guess.

No moth damage and no stains. 2 3/8” felted edge brim. 5 1/4” open crown. The disappointing, but not surprising, part is the size: 6 7/8. :(

The liner and sweat are marked Rogers Peet. The felt is quite wonderful.
