She changed her mind and sold it locally. Guess I'll have to find something else to spend my $40 on.

I have one, and the felt (the crown at least) is surprisingly nice. My 7 5/8 turned out to be a 7 1/8...apparently those are different sizes; who knew?

Facebook sellers are a different bunch.
Here's three winners:
First one the lady was obviously terrified of me so the transaction was completed halfway in/halfway out of her front door. Lady, I came for the hat, not for you. I can't picture anyone coming for her, to be perfectly honest.

Then there's the lady who would NOT give me her phone number which I asked for in case I got lost.
I found the place, kinda, but she gave me a fictitious house number and had her husband waiting in the driveway to see who would be wandering around looking for a number which doesn't exist.
He said that his wife watches too many true crime shows.
What was really strange as this seller was two blocks away from the first lady and that development is 80 miles away from my house. You have just entered The Twilight Zone...

The last one is yet another woman who has a bunch of hats for sale and she would be around this weekend. She knows the size of the hats but nothing else.
I asked her if she could look inside of the hats to see who made them and if she would prefer PayPal and to ship them instead of me going to her?
I'm remembering the terrified ladies and also I don't like to hang around waiting for people. I'm trying to be considerate.

She flips the F out and writes back:
No thank you
We Don't Ship
Cash Only
In Person Only
and breaks off the conversation without reading my reply which was
That's fine, did you get a chance to look inside of the hats?

They're really out there.
