what are you looking to get?Has anyone in US or Europe ordered from Mushmans directly? They're order form is in Japanese and seems to be for Japan orders. I've emailed them about ordering but have not received a response.
Looking to get the Rainbow Country 40s Car Coat.what are you looking to get?
What form of communication did you use? Email? Phone?I ordered my Rainbow Country directly from Mushamans. Ryohei was very responsive, very friendly and easy to deal with. You should know there are no returns or exchanges.
I will try that. Thanks.Yeah I have. I just dm them on Instagram to order. Worked quite easily for me.
No problem. Hopefully it works for you!I will try that. Thanks.

I’ve played around with translating the website a little more and it seems doable, even though the address format is a bit wonky.
Are Mushman’s size tables very accurate? If the jacket doesn’t closely match the stated measurements, would that be grounds for a return?

If you’re considering one of their jackets I’d email them to be safe and ask if they’d be willing to send you pictures of how they measure.
I ordered from McFly and did several inquiries with Mushmans. Both very helpful with the measurements cause usually they do not add up to the ones posted. I believe this is not due to their measurement techniques but that they post specification measurements for the jackets but during production because of them being made by hand it might accidentally be up to 0,5 - 1 cm difference due to cut. They both were very helpful sending pictures of how they measure with the tape. Also what I found is that they perceive chest measurement wider than it would be in my opinion: like from seam to seam even when the seam is almost on the sleeve and jacket is spread wide. The same actually was with Mirror Ball and Barnstormer. Maybe this has to do smth with local shopHow about McFly versus Mushman? Is one better than the other?
I'd recommend registering and using the site's shop system since it actually does support overseas addresses unlike most Japanese sellers. Mushmans will send you a Paypal invoice after you place an order, and they tend to be more responsive that way (probably because it's easier to track compared to email).I’ve played around with translating the website a little more and it seems doable, even though the address format is a bit wonky.
Barnstormer didn't undervalue any of my orders over the past year, but I've strangely never been hit with any customs fees even though they use FedEx.Another thing about them is that both Mushmans and McFly do not undervalue the orders (at least that were my cases) but mirror ball is more helpful with this. Do not know about Barnstormer.

From personal experience Barnstormer can sometimes be sloppy when it comes to packaging. Mushmans is better in that aspect but their shipping is comparatively expensive.
On a side note, my personal favorite is Soen Chitose. Their inventory isn't as large as other stores, but their customer service is speedy and commendable - they alway send pics of every item before proceeding with an order. They even gave me a discount (unprompted) when they noticed a slight defect on one product.
