New from peters brothers...

Got home this afternoon and this was waiting on me from Joe Peters from Fort Worth.
Joe and I talked awhile back about putting a diamond crease in one of his Indy straws.
This is the result... A sweet looking fedora if you ask me!!!!
I will try and get a few of it on my head up soon.
My old PB straw is soft and was easy to put a c-crown in.
This hat is a lot stiffer, and has more .... pizazz .... it if you can understand what I mean.
I will also try and put up some side by sides of my old hat and this one. I really like the shape Joe put on this one.
He hit this one out of the park as far as I am concerned!!!!

[kinda reminds me of my Mike Moore TVA fedora]

GREAT JOB JOE PETERS !!!!!!

And while I just could not get a good shot of the crown sticker... It looks so cool. hope this will give you an idea of what it looks like.

Looks good, RBH! Is there an indentation in the elevated part of the crown (inquiring bashers want to know :)).

And congrats in advance on your upcoming 4,000th post!  :D

Cheers,

HEY J... I guess this is the BIG 4000!!!!
No that is just shadow from the photo.
Of course this is a hat... and I mean a HAT. It aint no hat for the faint of heart. :D
It has brim... and it has crown.
But to my eye it has all the class and style of a vintage fedora of the days past.
JUST IN A STRAW! {milan}

You know me... cant leave well enough alone! :D

I lowered the back crease a little, that Joe put in.

BUT I think it finished out the shape of the hat. Now the brim and crown [front, back & side looks SWEET]It was a great hat but now it has MY touch.

Overall If any one is looking for a nice milan straw fedora PLEASE give Joe a holler.

Great lid RBH. It reminds me alot of your first one.

Question - can they make this same hat out of panama (white) straw?

Thanks , yes it is allmost the same as my first Peters Brother straw. But this one has a better diamond crease [I could never put a diamond in my old one.... but Joe did great on this one.] And its new and clean, I had really worn my old one, but it has held up well.
I do not know if they make it out of a 'panama' type straw... BUT they do make it out of a white milan straw.
