N-1 Deck jacket that won’t break the bank. Help!

I’ve been after one of these for awhile and I thought Aero offered one but I can’t seem to find it on their site. Kind of dipping a toe in the style so I don’t want to spend too much. Any suggestions? I’ve looked on eBay but it’s absolutely flooded with those generic, photos been ripped off someone else’s site, shipped from China crap. Help a brother out and point me in the right direction.

What’s your definition of “too much” for a jacket like this?

I was really diggin this one I found on Yahoo Japan. Around $300. Not familiar with the brand.

Buzz Rickson has a nice one too. I’ve seen it go for $400-$450

On the cheaper end I think Pike Brothers make a decent jacket. Bob Dong also should be comparable.

Yahoo Japan search. ^

A lot of variety, but shipping might be prohibitive.

Except for the more known names (RMC, Buzz etc...) I’m not sure who make a quality one.

Just did a quick eBay search. Finding a vintage one for a reasonable price shouldn’t be hard.

Yeah I thought that too about vintage but I think I’d rather go new/repro. $300-$400 range is fair if the quality is there. I swear Aero had them a month ago...I thought the Buzz version was more in the $600 range, which I don’t want to spend.

Yeah I’ve seen some buzzs’, freewheelers and toys McCoy’s go for even $800 or more. But for the most part you can get them on Rakuten for about $400 + shipping. Sometimes less.

Yeah man that’s the one. I like the pile lining and I couldn’t be a bigger Buzz Rickson fan at the moment. That might be the way to go. Thanks jeo!

SM Wholesale's N1 is the closest to original design and best bang for the buck I've seen. https://www.smwholesaleusa.com/
That said, I tried to order one and the communications were less than expected, I was unable to pull off the deal and walked away. Perhaps you'll be able to do so. Nice coat, made in USA and I feel the price is good for what you're getting.

For a new N-1, this would be my choice. Unfortunately, the company is perpetuating a common misconception in saying this jacket is "Khaki" in color. It isn't khaki, it's olive drab.
