Well, my wife was taking snapshots of me wearing it, and after each one she would look at the screen and wrinkle up her face. I apparently wasn't passing muster. lol

Are we getting a walk through your collection in your avatars, Douglas? You should add what each one is in your signature every day.

I have one just like it, all numbers being the same except mine is #66440. It was sold a Rogers Peet Company and for a price of $21.00. Sweet lid.

Post a pic. Or is that redundant? I'd love to see it, though. The May Co. must have had higher rent since they charged $22 for theirs.

as for the bash. if it were mine I'd try to lower the front peak a bit and pinch it a bit tighter. Or try a C-crown or diamond bash, I think you will like that. It will make the hat look more complex

That serial number system doesn't work for the older ones, so if it is from '59, it's just a coincidence that the serial number is that way.
